I plan to do a French translation of phpChrystal to use it in my LANs.
I found that some script should need a bit more "addslashes" so that single-quotes may be used in module xml files.
For now this prevents the install of the english module... I added one in CModules.php (line 74) to make the install work flawlessly.
Some files still miss language-abstraction (such as phpLogin.php). Is it work in progress ?
As phpChrystal is now open-source, it would be nice to standardize the use of English...
Finally I find that default site layout relies too much on javascript and layers... that is a bit personal tough.

Hi Julien,
a French translation would be great!
As I've taken over the job of translating the files into English, feel free to contact me for messages or questions related to language abstraction.
I found that in English version on 0.067 all login was broken... you can go with any password...
I also tried phpChrystal with magic-quotes on, and it did not work well (backslashes appearing here and there). Using addslashes() would be really nice. Using superglobals would be even nicer but I know it would be a long and fastidious job.
I'm a bit new about phpChrystal, and that German docs are quite frustrating (I'm far from being German fluent...) At least I got good laugh with Systran translations... Maybe someone can help me ? I could make registration work, but exciting features such as Tournaments or Server Admin do not appear in menus ?
Is there Adminbot-like features in phpChrystal ? (see http://nexen.enix.org/extranet/index.php?page=pages/pages.php&id=12#english for info about what adminbot is)
For now I have translated the Login page (phpLogin) in French, and about a half of texts were still hard-coded in /phpLogin.php

Here what I found :
* in xmlmods/english/class.lang.php : the array is $lang_def, I think it should be $lang_class
* xmlmods/english/phpAnmeldung.xml : uid, and url seem incorrect, but it seems to work anyway ? I use the Rubikon template (amazing one...) and most menus appear in German.

It is because the Rubikon Template is menu.xml based and the author of the theme has written this menu.xml for german users

I wonder, if you were referring to my English translation in saying: "At least I got good laugh with Systran translations".
Though at times I certainly do enjoy making people laugh, but these translations actually weren't meant to be jokes. *gg*. Please, let me know, if you come across any faulty translation.

Hi, please download the newest cvs-tree, 'cause the version 0.067 is too old and there are a lot of bugs, which are already fixed...
OK it looks better now ^^

Of course not, sorry if misinterpreted.
I just tried to straight translate from german to french with systran.
Is the menu.xml something deprecated, alternate or new feature that will replace the info in the database ?
No, the menu.xml is a alternate system to build the menu of the Homepage...
