phpCodeGenie Reloaded / Blog: Recent posts

Thanks to some feedback from d9ping on the 0.1 alpha version of the phpCodeGenie Reloaded, I've made a few updates by adding "mysql_real_escape_string" to the Get and Post variables. The screen shots have been updated to show the changes.

This is the kind of feedback I'm looking for, and maybe some specific recommendations on how and where improvements can be made. The one thing I could use some help on is updating the pagination function in the "Database Lister" which is currently not working.

It's Official!

I've uploaded the phpCodeGenie Reloaded project website and added the Alpha release zip archive to the download section of the SourceForge project page. I'm looking to continue to clean things up as time goes on, but would appreciate any feedback or suggestion (and maybe some participation) from the community to improve this tool for its next release.

I have been using the "old" phpCodeGenie version 1 since I came across Nilesh Dosooye's project almost 10 years ago. It has saved me countless hours of development by providing all of the CRUD interactions that otherwise would have been very tedious to write. Through my continued use, I have made a number of improvements to the application and decided to share my version of the application with the community in hopes that it will benefit someone else the way it continues to help me and maybe gain some interest in other developers to contribute improvements of their own.... read more
