#50 Hierarchical components
Hey
This looks like a fantastic bug tracking app!!! I might
be interested in using it for ReactOS
(www.reactos.com). However, I noticed it lacks one
thing (please correct me if I'm wrong): hierachical
components.
See, a big project like ReactOS has TONS of components!
That's why a hierarchical listing would make things
easier for us - for organizing and for finding the
component you want faster, instead of scanning through
a huge list.
In the DB, this should be as easy as adding a
PARENT_COMPONENT_ID to your component table.
IF you are going to add this, please let me know. We
can then start using PHPBugTracker as it is for now, in
the hope that hierarhical components will be coming in
the future

Since this request has come up more than once, I guess it
really should be done. However, at the current rate of
development, unless someone wants to dedicate themselves
to doing it, it would probably be a version 2.0 feature. Which,
of course, puts it a ways off, if you look at the history of the
project. :)
