You can enable/disable all e-mail from the Admin Tools -> Configuration page (it's at the bottom).
Also make sure you switch users. You will not get an e-mail if you change your own bug. So create a test user, create a bug with that user, assign it to yourself, and then change the bug around.

I just installed phpBugTracker on windows and have set up everything according to my needs, but phpBugTracker doesn't send any e-mails.
I've set up a test PHP page to test whether the mail() function works, and it does without problems.
Could you please give me hints where to look/where to add debug outputs ?

I have read that by default phpbugtracker does not send any emails please let me know where I can change the setting so that it will send the email.s

(BTW, the graphics are not loading even though I have the library installed and being detected. I'll work on that one too...)
