Project phpBBrank is an phpBB evolution/branch that lets the users voting for ranking the topics positively, neutraly or negatively.
This factor, in combination with some other criteria google's pageRank style, convert a simple forum in a auto evaluated relevance comunity.
The base idea is: The most userRank voting the most relevant vote. The most threadRank in his posts the most UserRank. This rankings work auto feeded by the platform usage.
This project is a trying for giving phpBB (the most popular web-based forum system) a certain social key for auto indexing its own contents ordered by relevance. The techlonogy will be totaly web-based, with database storage of the information, and view-controller oriented presentation of it.
The final goal of the project is to be able to present a list of topics in a forum ranked for it's relevance or the posting user's relevance, for example, not only for empiric criteria like temporal or activity ones.
