Cross-site scripting issue with BBCode

We've been informed of a cross-site scripting issue with phpBB 2.0.6 (it also affects at least 2.0.5 and 2.0.4 ... early releases should be immune). This is a potentially serious issue. Updated packages have been made available for download here.

For existing users the required changes can be found in:

http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=135116

We strongly urge all users to upgrade to the new 2.0.6 packages (if using 2.0.5 or below) or to implement the changes in the above topic (for existing 2.0.6 users).
