I as well have been working on a project for scanning
local files using CLamAV and system();

Try to come up with an effective method for integrating
ClamAV and its already existing definitions into your
system, not only to scan for malicous code elements.
But files that could be delivered via a compromised
server using your domain.

I began seeking a way for a file delivery script in
which I wrote, files are submitted without approval and
then redelivered to their destination, the purpose was
to deliver a method for file distrobution without
sending out file attachments to 10,000 users on our
enterprise network.

This reduced our overall network throughput, but also
created a problem very similar to your initial conflict
causing you to start this project. I've been watching
for quite some time and I will remain to keep track of
your progress.

Maybe someday I'll find time to help, until then!

GREAT JOB SO FAR!
