PhpAdsNew 2 Beta 7 is finally here!

I know many people have been eagerly awaiting this release for the past six months and I am proud to announce the release of Beta 7. Okay, its a bit later than originally intended but I think you will know why it took so long when you install this release. So people stop sending me questions about when phpAdsNew 2.0 will be released :)

The number of new features in Beta 7 are simply too numerous to list here, but for everyone who is interested there is a complete list in the Changelog file. There are a couple of things I should mention, like the new installer, many optimisations to increase the speed and the new documentation. Also we have now support for multiple publishers, a priority system and full support for Flash files.

Beta 7 is the next step towards the 2.0 release and I ask everybody to try it out. Over the next month we will try to wrap up the development and Release Candidate 1 should be along shortly. Also I would like to thank the users which were willing to try the development builds over the last couple of months, which were sometimes stable and on other occasions quite buggy. Because of the feedback you all gave I can now safely say phpAdsNew 2 Beta 7 will be the most stable version we have ever released up till now.

The development of phpAdsNew is not nearly done, so releasing a final version is always a compromise, but we are confident that what we have now is a product which will be useful to many users. We already have many new features planned for phpAdsNew 2.1 and 2.2 and will probably start developing those right after 2.0 is released, so there are many more things to come
