[Php-qt-users] Easy build on Kubuntu Edgy

Just a quick note to say that an install in my edgy partition
did not require any special tweaking. I just checked out the
latest svn, cd'd into the directory, did a phpize and kdeize,
then configure ; make ; make install and the examples all ran,
except for t7.

Is that a 32bit system?

Mandriva 2007 x86_64 will be released in 1-2 days, I hope that will give 
me more chance to compile. :-)

No, just a 32 bit install, but on a AMD64 2800+.

Here's hoping, good luck. FWIW the Gentoo (32bit or 64bit) doesn't
seem to do anything complicated (I sometimes glean compiling tricks
from Gentoo ebuilds)...

There is still a problem with the build system on Mandriva. I'm playing around 
with cmake and it is easier to handle, problably we can use cmake for php-qt. 
Btw KDE4 will use cmake, it is common enough for PHP-Qt.
