I've added some more ram to the test server. It has made the test server alot more accessible.

(It's only a 486 so don't slam it too hard =P)

I found a major bug in the admin system that could cause it to be comprimized.

You should update either by downloading the latest version or by updating by CVS.

Don't forget to dump the latest database format.

A PHP script that uses SNMP to create a page that displays the status of all machines on a LAN or WAN.

Here are the major updates of this release:
-Updated the ping check script.
-Displays the ping time on the main page.
-Uses a variable out of config.inc.php for the ping command.

The CVS repository is also updated with this new release.

We have hit beta folks!

I think the script is now stable enough to release into beta!

Also, due to extreme loads on our test server, we have temporarily disabled mrtg stat updates (while the old stats are still currently displayed, just not updated).

Added an admin section for the services that the main page probes.

Fixed a couple bugs on how the description, ipaddress, and location are displayed on the main page.

Added a description section for hosts on the admin pages.

Be sure to update the database structure, or have many problems while updating.

I finally got the CVS online!

The modulename is "netanalyzer"

To get the newest version via CVS type...
(when prompted for a password simply hit enter)

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.php-netanalyzer.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/php-netanalyzer login

and then...

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.php-netanalyzer.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/php-netanalyzer co netanalyzer

Alpha 0.7.0 includes a new user admin system.

I don't know if there is any bugs in this new version, if so, post them in the tracker. Also I need feature requests, so post those too!

I see that people are downloading, viewing and generally interested in this script. Well.. I have had no comments except for "you should not make all links related to the root of the site" well to that I comment "it's alpha change it".

But I need comments to further develop the script!!

PHP-NetAnalyzer-Alpha.0.6.0 has been released!

This new version includes many bug fixes.

The main page has been changed to support both snmp and ping queries to check for the status on a host.

It also has mrtg support (minimal docs currently)
