Could be because the Java.inc has been included twice, or an opcache...
Are you using the default JavaBridge.war provided on sourceforge ? And did
you test the excel.php from the welcome page or from a custom script ?
If yes I would check first your php-cgi installation (let me know your
system)... and its reference in the web.xml config.
On my side, I've just tested it on a fork (
https://github.com/belgattitude/php-java-bridge) that we maintain with
Christian... From there, the excel.php works at least on my system.
If you intend to work with the bridge, I would really recommend to not use
the sourceforge version... and have a look at the repo we're currently
setting up:
- server side : https://github.com/belgattitude/php-java-bridge
- client (reworked Java.inc): https://github.com/belgattitude/soluble-japha
