Hi,

I need to get the bridge working urgently with Java Lucene as Zend_Lucene is
unsatisfactory.

Both c:\php\core\php.exe lucene_search.php &
http://127.0.0.1/cc/lucene_search.php return:

Warning: The use statement with non-compound name 'java' has no effect in
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cc\lucene_search.php on line 16
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM, expecting ','
or ';' in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cc\lucene_search.php on line 16

Does anyone know what is causing this?

I got around the problem by going back to the earlier version of the example
script.

are you sure you use PHP 5.3.4?

Line 16 is correct and lucene_search.php runs fine on PHP 5.3.4.
