Well, for whatever reason, PHP/APC just hits the tomcat server over and over
for that file. Perhaps APC is caching it, but ends up having to talk to
tomcat every time to make sure it's not different. As a test, I'm just
hardcoding the path to the Java.inc file on the server and I'm noticing any
problems.
Right now the platform I'm installing my app on is pretty standard, so I
don't have a problem doing it this way. I just was hoping to get some
confirmation that requiring the Java.inc off of the filesystem as opposed to
via httpd would be OK.
