Yes. 1.5 should work as is, because the SEL policy
(please see the /usr/share/doc/php-java-bridge*/
policy file) contains settings for 1.5.

Ah, could it be that you tried to install a i386 RPM
on a IA64 architecture?

Please leave them, they are there if one wants to use
custom versions of the JavaBridge.jar and
natcJavaBridge.so. Please see the
php-java-bridge.sf.net page for the .ini
documentation.

That might be the reason. I think it should be
possible to compile the source rpm for AMD64. If not,
please file a bug report.
