[Php-java-bridge-users] launching a java app from php

Hi all,

I have a very simple stand alone java App. It is not a client/server
application and I call it from command line and it takes 1 or 2 seconds
to finish.

Now I want to call it from PHP and the way I found was using system()
and exec() PHP function. The bad new is now it takes more than 4 seconds
to execute.

Since every time I call it from PHP the JVM is started and fished I
think java bridge can help me in some way.

How Java Bridge can help me to call this java app from PHP? Does the
performance is improved?
