I found the easiest method is to use the pure PHP implementation. The java_php modules that come with PHP do not work (and can interfere with the bridge if installed.). Tomcat worked for me as the Java container. The bridge comes with install instructions. You want the J2EE instructions if you're going to do it with Tomcat. Otherwise, you'll want to use the pure Java implementation which involves using Resin (or something like it). I had trouble getting Resin to work with my mail server though. --Nathan Shaskin Compliance Publishing.com php...@li... wrote: Hi every: I have Apache 2.0.61 SSL, PHP 5.2.5. Hi,
> I can't understand your reply. What you mean with pure PHP implementation?
The PHP/Java Bridge is a network protocol. The implementation is pure Java with some parts written
in PHP.
This means that you can (and should) nuke your php_java.dll.

Yes. Fortunately PHP refuses to load your (presumably broken) php_java.dll, so it will not
interfere with the PHP/Java Bridge.

Just remove it. Again, please see our FAQ section "error in the Apache..." for details.

Hi Reynier, > I decide to > compile a DLL for Win32 I thought that it is clear that no dll is needed. And, if such a dll exists, we will not support it. The whole communication is based on this misunderstanding. I think we should take this off the list.
