I just wanted to say thanks for a great piece of software. Being able to
 leverage the Lucene search engine in our PHP apps has been extremely
helpful, and saved us time & money. Keep up the good work!

On a side note, do you think the bridge will ever be integrated into PHP
core?

we can think about this when the code is complete,
i.e. when Kai's just in time compiler, persistent
connections and the new protocol to reduce the number
of round trips is in place.
