Certanly. But RHEL3 shipped with PHP4 only.
The RHEL3 RPM contains binaries for PHP4, the Fedora
Core 4 (or RHEL4) RPM contains binaries for PHP5, the
Fedora Core 5 (or RHEL5) RPM contains binaries for
PHP5.1 or PHP6.
That doesn't necessarily mean that you must upgrade to
RHEL4 if you want to use PHP5, of course. Just install
the appropriate PHP5 and FC4 RPM's. -- You may need to
re-compile the php5-*.src.rpm and
php-java-bridge-*.src.rpm and other files against your
system, though.
