Hi, > I thought the bridge works for PHP 5 surely. Isn't > that so? Certanly. But RHEL3 shipped with PHP4 only. The RHEL3 RPM contains binaries for PHP4, the Fedora Core 4 (or RHEL4) RPM contains binaries for PHP5, the Fedora Core 5 (or RHEL5) RPM contains binaries for PHP5.1 or PHP6. That doesn't necessarily mean that you must upgrade to RHEL4 if you want to use PHP5, of course. Just install the appropriate PHP5 and FC4 RPM's. -- You may need to re-compile the php5-*.src.rpm and php-java-bridge-*.src.rpm and other files against your system, though.
