how to pass env variables at jvm startup? i need to pass some other
environment variables to the vm.

i am using gentoo with apache2 and php5; if anyone knows where the jvm
gets initialized and started so that i can set some env variables that
will be real helpful.

right now when apache2 is started the php-java-bridge is started with
the parameters specified in the java.ini. i just need to find out
where and how the jvm is initialized.
