Hi Marek,

the bridge has the "java_get_server_name()" function
which is currently not documented[1]:

 if(!java_get_server_name()) {
   wakeup_administrator("backend not running");
 }

To avoid unnecessary downtime you can also add
additional backends to the java.hosts list, they will
take over when the local backend is not available.

[1] The version 2.0.9, which will be the last 2.x
