Jost,

 java -cp JavaBridge.war TestInstallation works fine. the RESULT.html file 
looks good.  So if this works and cna use the phpCGIservlet (and FAST CGI) 
capability why can't WebSphere start the phpCGIservlet indicating php 
can't be found ?

Please use java -classpath JavaBridge.war TestInstallation, see install
instructions for details.

If it reports that php is missing, please install php.
