Almost there...

I apologize for the delays in the release. I've been quite busy with work and school. Also, to complicate things, I've been having some issues with my development network at home. Furthremore, while my home servers are all based on PHP4, the production machine at the ambulance corps is running PHP5, so I had to do some minor (5 lines) code changes. Release 2 will be for PHP5, and I will also issue patched files for PHP4. Hopefully we will have a release in the next few weeks. At this point, the code is done, I just need to finish up some documentation and pack everything into an archive.

I have also coded a new, interactive PHP install script to be run as root that handles everything - database creation, population, and most of the initial setup. It also checks for required software and performs some other error-checking. Please note, while it will do some things under Windoze, it is coded for a *nix (Linux/Unix) environment.

As a bit of good news, my ambulance corps rolled over to PHP EMS Tools on January 1st for all scheduling, roster, etc. It has been up and running, including the web-visible schedule view, for 30 days without any reported bugs.
