Sean, That sounds great! Basically I would like to create a category, assign = it a color, and any event in that category would show that color on the = monthly view, either in the text or background. A Service Call would show blue, = and a Repair yellow, etc, for example. I'm pretty sure you understand what I mean. Now I can finally step away from Windows. I'm really swamped with work right = now and probably will be for the next couple weeks. My friend and I had a = long discussion on improving the calendar the other day. Since the database format is going to be changing anyway, it wouldn't be a big deal to add = the feature you want. I was thinking you could have a type for each event. = types could be created dynamically, and then when you're creating the event = you could pick the type. For each type I was thinking of having a string for = the CSS class so you could have some arbitrary style associated with it, a string for the color in the month view, and a title of the type.
