    Hi,

We are currently working with the latest ARSystem version (7.6) and I was
wondering if I could connect using PHP ...

Is there any way to do this yet ?

I am using an xp machine with wampserver2 installed , i downloaded the dll but
got the unable to load dll error ....

    thx

There is no problem using the current version with the 7.6 server. But you
will still need the DLLs from 7.1 ARAPI to run. You can visit
http://arswiki.org/ to download them if you do not have
    them installed somewhere.

Note: I have not personally tested this version with wampserver2, so I am not
sure the references to PHP in the plugin really match wampserver2.

Thx for your swift reply, I will try it asap
Which PHP version do you suggest I use in case the wampserver 2 doesn't work (
    PHP 5.3.0, Apache 2.2.11)

    Aight,

I had a look around on arswiki and I find alot of files and some docs
concerning C and Java. The php entries lead back to here.
It might be just me but could you clarify which files exactly I need to put in
my php ext folder ? And maybe if I have to do anything else ?

I have only tested the pre-compiled version on 5.2.10, should work with all
5.2 version up to .10. 5.3 contains alot of new things in the plugin
interface. So I am not sure how well it will work.

I will work on this code some during the coming week or two. I do not know how
big changes I will have time for. I might have time to test it on 5.3.

Note: the current version does not support all the features of the selection
field introduced in 7.1. And there are some new features in 7.5/7.6 that will
    not work to.

If you look at this link, http://arswiki.org/projects/arapi/browser/releases/
    win71p1/lib.

You need ALL the .DLL files. If you want to be 100% sure you really need all
.DLL files use program like Dependency Walker, use google to find that
    program.

An extra note. The DLL-files from ARAPI have to be in the PATH on windows
systems. And the corresponding parameter on linux systems.

Allright , thx for your help so far !

The most recent wampserver2 php version didn't work, so I installed an older
one and it now works perfectly.
One last question maybe, is there any more recent documentation then the one I
    found here: http://php-arapi.sourceforge.net/use.html
