PhotoShelf2 - The rewrite.

The original PhotoShelf was very messy and used a 'flat' design
which does not scale very well. I'd like the core modules to be
flexible so that for example dirrerent user interfaces can be
implemented fairly easily. Currently it's pretty heavily tied
to a web interface, and making a CLI or GTK/perl interface is
not easy at all. In fact, many parts of the module would have to
be rewritten anyway. I would like to rewrite the entire thing
with much more improved coding in mind.... read more

There is a public demo site of PhotoShelf available
now. The URL is

Initial PhotoShelf release

Today the first beta version of PhotoShelf has been released.
The project is currently in a working state and is very
featureful and debugged almost completely.
PhotoShelf is a web based digital image management, display, and archiving system.
