Many people literally have thousands of photographs on their computers, either from others or from their own digital cameras. There are numerous ways to catalog these for quick retrieval; this project will design and code an application that uses the standard IPTC Keyword tags in the Exif header of JPEG-encoded photographs to embed tags directly in the photograph’s file. Using this technique ensures the tags travel with the file, and are available to any tool that reads them, including OS-provided searching tools.
