Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Macs. I did research a bit through google and found a way to get JRE 1.6 to install on OSX 10.4, but I did not have an opportunity to try this method. It seems as though the easiest way to get this version is to upgrade OSX to 10.5 or higher.
