#33 Associated components

Look on Cadence System connectivity manager. It allows to manage small components like resistors and capacitors more intelligent that are currently done in other tools, even in PHDL. Associated components are components that user can instantiate not by conventional operations (adding symbols in graphic editor or typing HDL definition in HDL environment). They are instantiated via special dialogs (in Cadence). Typical applications of associated components are power filtering and signals termination. For example, you can define large BGA by conventional way and then add some hundreds of bypass capacitiors in associated components dialog. Then you can rapidly connect power signal to capacitiors pins. In case of termination you associate a resistor to signal and so on.
This is very effective approach. PHDL looks good enough to implement tihs.
