#9 Packages not platform independent!

In the download section, it says that both the tgz and
the zip are platform independent, but that's not true.
We downloaded the tgz and tried it on windows, and it
didn't work. The zip version does work. The problem
seems to be the end of line characters in the .tcl. We
lost a lot of time until we found this.
Furthermore, we tried the .exe version, and it didn't
run. It broke with a memory fault. This is on Windows 2000.
