Several bug fixes appeared this night in the CVS. Quite alot of memory bugs were fixed.
It was a way to long time since any releases was made.
But the CVS code has a lot of bugs fixed, just haven't got the time to
bug-test it enougth to release it...
So, check out the CVS :)
PFTP has been added to DarwinPorts, which means that it works under Mac OS X/Darwin, with only one patch!
Visit http://darwinports.opendarwin.org for downloading and information.
The patch needed is available at: http://darwinports.opendarwin.org/darwinports/dports/net/libpftputil/files/patch-parse_utils.c
Version 0.3 of pftp released.
A ton of bugs fixed.
Libraries had a makeover, including name change and a better cleaner interface.
Try it out.
Don't use 0.2 release. Go with CVS instead.
Bug #1: Corrupt uploaded files.
Bug #2: Missed/forgot server responses.
Bug #3: Segfault if any file in filelistning was wider than terminal.
Something has happened with the release files for 0.2 release.
They got scrambled some way, files uploaded again and now you can even extract the tar.gz archive...
0.2 is out. Too much was updated for me to fill this box with. ChangeLogs are attached to filereleases for the needy.
We apologize for not posting stuff, but we have been really busy putting together this great piece of software. Soon, we will add libutil and pftp-cli to the CVS. This will enable you to try this software more thoroughly. Be patient, soon enormous joy will fill your bodies.
Now there is a first taste of PFTP up in the CVS, for all hackers out there. There is not yet a User Interface, but thou shalt not fear, because you can still play around with libftp.
