<font size=3D2 face=3D"sans-serif">Dear developers:

<font size=3D2 face=3D"sans-serif">Today I managed to corrupt 175GB of data in a few seconds by simply using "pts header". The problem fortunately does not occur in the latest released pts version, but only in the development version. The problem seems to be invoked by using pts header on Linux on a file that was created on Windows (because the problem does not appear when I first pts cp the file under Linux). I suspect the problem is in cpfspd and not in the recent modification of pts header. Please contact me directly if you need test data.

<font size=3D2 face=3D"sans-serif">Regards,

<font size=3D2 face=3D"sans-serif">Ren=E9.
<font size=3D2 face=3D"sans-serif">
--------------------------------------------------------------------------<= br> Dr. Rene J. van der Vleuten
Philips Research Laboratories
High Tech Campus 36
5656 AE Eindhoven
The Netherlands

Phone: +31 40 2742941
Fax: +31 40 2742630
mailto:Ren...@ph... |
