The files are know modified only if the pfiles[idx].mode equals 
p_write_mode when entering the p_close_idx() function. I hope this does 
the job.

Thanks for the offer to become a developer but I prefer to remain a happy 
user for a while. This does not mean that this was my last patch but I 
want to limit the number of patches :-)

I will send the patch directly.
