Hi all,

Currently, I am in the process of migration to wxWidgets release 2.6.2, 
since
the current wxWindows release that we use for PV is rather old.
I hope this will also resolve the PV crash on small images that Rene 
reported recently.

In order to prepare this, PV sources frame.cc and canvas.cc were slightly 
modified.

Compilation of wxWidgets on cygwin and win32 run fine now.
On Linux, I have some pending issues.

Once this new wxWidgets release runs, I will add a wxwidgets directory 
that contains
some shell scripts and readme files how to compile (at least in our 
environment).
