Fixed an OSError in pexpect.close

I believe it happened with the spawn class was garbage
collected

    I applied the patch and ran regression tests.
    Note that the tests did not specifically touch this line of
    code since
    it's kind of a rare case anyway, but I don't think this will
    hurt.
    The only downside is that this will hide the problem if it later
    turns out that there was a better way to prevent this exception.
    In other words, this may cover a bug... Therefore it's possible
    that I might back this change out someday.
