RATPOISON 22.03 Release Notes:

This is a major release, will occur every year.

  1. Different background on lightdm-theme
  2. Removed rpbar from the configuration, but is present in the system for those who'd like to use it.
  3. Fetch master added
  4. VLC added
  5. Light has replaced xbacklight
  6. Pcmanfm-qt is the default file-manager
  7. Connman added
  8. Lxqt-powermanagement added
  9. More backgrounds
  10. Below packages have been removed (not in alphabetical order):
    • NetworkManager
    • cbatticon
    • midnight commander
    • neofetch
    • onionshare
    • shortwave
    • mpv
    • lplayer
    • tor-browser ( tor is present )

Final Note:
Updated ISO release will happen more frequently now, i.e on every alternate month, starting with one major release every year followed by "only updated/minor" release.
