Moved CVS tree.

Hi All! Due to circumstances, I've moved all active development of PEST's CVS tree to a personal server and continue to develop it there. If you are interested in knowing more, or need support/information, please email me at blue-ice@sympatico.ca

Cheers!

Unrecoverable.org

Hi All! The unrecoverable.org site (running PHPNuke) has become too much of a burden to keep an eye on and clean, so I'm going to replace it with the demo copy of PEST that is running until I can find a solution. Until then, Sourceforge is the home of PEST. :)

Cheers, and sorry for any problems...

unrecoverable.org - unavailable.DOH

Alas, the place where I have unrecoverable.org hosted is down and out for a bit, so until then keep your eyeballs on PEST@sourceforge, and if you want to get in contact with me, you can do so at blue-ice@sympatico.ca

Release of 0.4-BETA!

Yes all, I'm finally going to consider this the start of the BETA phase of PEST. Why? Mostly because of features that are already in the software that I consider the core functionality. If you want to read the full story, head on over too the homepage at unrecoverable.org!

DB Restructuring Complete

Hi all, just figured I'd drop the good news: PEST now has a fully configurable bug property system integrated into it's DB structure.... And it works. ;) Enjoy, Chris.

PEST DB Restructuring

Hi all,

I'm in the process of restructuring PEST's internal DB design, and after that's all done and such, you WILL HAVE TO re-install your PEST database. At this time a conversion utility is NOT planned, so if possible, hold off any production *HAHAHA* deployments of PEST until I get the bulk of the modifications done and the system switched over to the new backend.

This new DB design will feature a much more powerful and configurable design than the original, and will be especially useful for projects that don't fit 100% perfectly with the original bug field choices I made. I'm sorry if this wrecks plans, but if you want to try PEST out, grab the 0.2a tarball and gve it a spin.... read more

SECURITY UPDATE - User passwords

Ok, so this is pretty sad, but I forgot to add fields for new users' to set their passwords. whoops. =) So I fixed that, and there are some error msg/logging features built in now. The logging features are 100% tested and working yet, but the code is in there, so if someone feels like giving it a whirr. Cheers, Chris.

Audit - DB calls and error logging

Started an auditing process to knock away some of the DB and logging crap that's hanging around in the system. Even though this really should have been left for closer to the end of a full release, after looking at the code, I puked, and started to clean up the code. ick. =)

PEST Alpha Code Released

This is code that works, but it very rough still. A number of key modules still need to be integrated. But it'll function. ;) Oh, and there's no documentation. DOH. :)
