Persistent perl is awesome, in my benchmarking of various projects it actually *beats* zend-optomized PHP and doesn't have nearly the headache or overhead of admining a PHP Bloated Apache that breaks everytime you need to build in support for some funtionality into PHP. In fact the only servers of ours that have PHP are hosting servers for customers that don't know any better ;p Of course we offer, recommend, and assist users use perperl instead and use it exclusivley for mission criticl apps. Please keep Peristent Perl Sam, if its abandoned please let us know so we can find someone to take it over properly. If not you still rock Sam!!! Either way thanks a bunch, PeristentPerl is awesome :) |
