#31 startup of perlprimer

I have successfully run Perlprimer for one day, then I can not start it again. I tried uninstall and install again the release 1.1.15. But I could not start the program. I also tried permit the program from my firewall, there is no change. I still have the information as:
can not take log of 0 on script/perlprimer.pl line 2981.
I am running windows xp with sp3.

I've observed exactly the same. First day, the program worked well, the next it wouldn't start. Tried to reinstall, disconnect firewall, but it didn't make a difference. When I run the program in cmd, I get the following message:" Can't call method "messagebox" on an undefined value at script/perlprimer.pl line 5242"
Any suggestions?
