The Perl ORB now handles locate request messages, as I've finally gotten some time to work on it. This means that you don't have to switch off locate request messages on ORBs that always send them first (i.e. OmniORB). So get the changes from CVS and try it out!

Just to let everyone know what my plan is for the Perl ORB - I want to implement the remaining GIOP 1.0 messages, and then refactor a fair bit of the client and ORB support code, as much of it was grown quickly and experimentally. I'm happy with the basic GIOP/CDR engine, ie everything under the GIOP directory, so that'll stay unchanged. Then I'll have a 0.2 release, and I might actually be ready to officially announce the project to the world at large.
