But that means that my module provides the version number
where cpan2rpm is searching.

I dont't *know* where to put additionally information.
I don't know where the cpan2rpm is searching for it.

I will have a look into cpan2rpm, but maybe it is faster
if you tell me where your cpan2rpm is searching for information ;-)
