"Application"... that means application using the GSSAPI.pm
module? This applications run against the code in
xs/OID.xs :


GSSAPI::OID_const
gss_nt_service_name()
    CODE:
        RETVAL = GSS_C_NT_HOSTBASED_SERVICE;
    OUTPUT:
        RETVAL


Is there a point a Perl-application using GSSAPI.pm
will have a use for the (C-level) 'gss_nt_service_name'?
