[perlce-user] Compile error: Undefined subroutine &FindExt::dynamic_extensions called at config_sh.PL

I downloaded all the files listed on perlce's website.
The compile process was fine, until I stumbled upon this error...
Has anyone got an idea on how to fix it?
Should I get another perl version other than 5.8.8?
