yeah, it did to me too :-)  I haven't had a chance to test the solution that was

meaning that widget X is derived from and extends widget Y.  Essentially, just
making ActiveX-like controls... but I have always had trouble with AX controls
too.  It's just me - I'm not too bright :-)
