[perl-win32-gui-users] how to Test a button highlighted or not in GUI using perl script

Hi All,
   i am trying to automate the GUI .
Gui has a small rectangle window which glows green if connected else it will
be gray.
i wanted to test this functionality using perl script.
Kindly help how to do this ....
