What version of Perl are you using? Threading support is dodgy
is most versions...If you are not on 5.8.2, it may be worth upgrading to that
version. I'm not sure if 5.8.3 is available as a binary yet, but
that version is meant to be better for threading.
You will also need to check what Perl version perl2exe is
using. If your problem is only with the exe, then upgrade perl2exe.
