Can I include png images in pdf files and how ?
What are the restrictions for the inclusion of GIF files ?

Currently png files are not supported. If you need it I can try to
implement it but it would take some time because I am busy in the next
few weeks.

You should not use (too many) interlaced GIF files because the script
has to decompress and then recompress the whole GIF file and so it is
very slow and need a lot of memory. Try to use only non-interlaced gif
files. And I think B/W GIFs are not supported.
