The GUID attribute (a proprietary Novell attribute) appears to be defined
as a 16 octet long octet string, according to the NDS online documentation.
The structure of the value isn't obviously described by Novell online. I
would be surprised if the syntax was described by ASN.1; I would guess that
it is a simple packed array of bytes and words instead - see perl's
unpack() function.
