Subject: anonymous bind with "empty" DN and passwd? (perl-ldap-0.22)

It appears that attempting to perform/request an annonymous bind while
supplying "empty" DN and password parameters causes a bind failure.
Using no parameters succeeds with an annonymous bind, but I am
interested in using a static model that allows me to fill in the DN and
password parameters as needed, but still affect an annonymous bind
without having to include extra code and a seperate bind statement.
Thank you.
