While it was for IPlanet 4, it should still be true for IPlanet 5 unless you're using the new role objects.

  Hi all, this is pretty urgent, so i would be really grateful if someone could help me...I am using iPlant directory server 5.1 on windows 2000 and I  definitely need to be able to know what groups a user is memberof...I have been looking for a way to do this and I haven't found any for memberOf doesn't seem to be an attribute in iPlanet...is there any way or script to be able to be able to tell what groups a user is member of?...thanks a lot guys...
